Massage that comes to you, from the Cape to the South Shore and greater Boston. The page opens on open water, the six therapies are laid out plainly, and booking hands off to Vagaro.

The brief
The Mobile Mermaid sells something that has to be pictured before it can be booked: a licensed therapist who arrives at your door, anywhere from the Cape to greater Boston. The site had to make that read as a treat rather than as a compromise, and hand the booking off to Vagaro without the visitor feeling passed along.
Decision 01
Sand, shallows, sea and sea lavender do all the ordinary work — headings, panels, illustrations. Nothing else on the page is allowed the pink, so “Book Now” is legible as an action from across the room.
Sampled from the live site. Four of the five are cool and quiet; the fifth is spent on one element only, the button that starts a booking.
Decision 02
A mobile service lives or dies on whether the visitor believes it reaches them. The service area is drawn on the Cape and the South Shore, next to a line inviting anyone outside it to ask anyway.

Decision 03
A massage is bought on the feeling it promises, not on a feature list. So the page opens full-screen on moving ocean with the promise set over it in script, and cuts into the rest of the site on a diagonal — everything factual waits until you are past that.
Live · the real component, running here
The site’s own footage, its own type, its own diagonal cut into the page below — running here, muted and looping, the way it runs there. Shown as an eight-second cut of a fifty-six-second clip.
